Justin Beard’s show goes up January 17 at the Arvada Center. He is showing as part of a group show that includes Emmett Culligan, Virginia Folkestad, Chris Lavery and Linda Foster Leonhard.

Q: you have two pieces in the show … did you start with an idea?

A: Yea. One is from wondering “why we show art?” (cluster of pipes with video). The other I haven’t shown yet. That one came from creating a potential experience.

The bike is just a way for me to tell people about the box.
