“Fun, Free, and Fabulous!” is the overarching theme for this year’s annual Pride Fest.

It’s Pride Fest time this year, and the two day celebration will be fabbing up Capitol Hill.

With the recent ruling in Califronia allowing members of the gay and lesbian community to legally marry, Pride Fest is likely to be even more celebratory this year in light of the good news.

Saturday kicks off the event with a family field day from 11am-6pm in Denver’s Civic Center Park. Shows on stages, vendors and other attractions will be available both days. Sunday will feature the Pride Parade, begining at 9am. Colfax will be dressed up with floats, marchers, and other folks celebrating the day.
