History and nature, for free
Tommorrow, June 25th, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science are holding their monthly FREE day, where they open the doors to all of us budgeting rabble.
Hot dog!
Current exhibits to see include: Extreme Ice, wherein the videos and photographs of James Balog show the frozen wonders of the world. A must-see before global warming makes them all into mush.
Egyptian mummies: My favorite as a kid. The mysterious “rich woman” mummy always fascinated me, and now the museum apparently has a technology that allows a demonstration of what she might have looked like in life. Other xrays and scans show fascinating things about these two old cadavers.
On Wednesday, medical professionals will also be at the museum talking about lung health as well.
