America, this one’s for you.

Ah, fireworks.
As Homer Simspson said, what better way to “Celebrate our nation’s independence by blowing up a small part of it?”

It’s time to celebrate our freedom from those wig-loving Kings of England with colorful explosions and lots of BBQ snacks!

For those who like their traditional celebrations, Four Mile Historic Park (715 S Forest Street) will be holding a good old-fashioned 4the celebration from 10am-4pm, with family-friendly fun.

Coors Field will be having their annual display of fireworks after the Rockies Game, so if you like sports, it’s win-win on the celebration end.

Why not combine organic wholesomeness with firey explosions? At Whole Foods on 870 South Colorado Boulevard, the 4th will be celebrated on the 5th for all the lazy procrastinators who forgot the day before! The City of Glendale will be launching off their show, and apparently the parking lot of Whole Foods is the ideal viewing spot. Also, an all-store party will begin at 5pm, and something tells me there will be lots of good eats and free samples.
