Jokes in thin air.
The Prodigal Son of Denver comedy is returning for one very, very special night of guffaws at the Oriental Theatre.
Ben Kronberg, a long-time Denver comedic fixture and man-about-town, uprooted himself from his beloved city last year, but returns in triumph on August 1st.
“I can’t wait to tell jokes to tell jokes to people inhaling the thin mile-hi air,” says Ben of his return to the Denver stage for one very special night.
Performing comedy for the last five years, Ben got his start performing funny songs at open mic nights around Denver, eventually moving on to larger stages and clubs such as Comedy Works and the Squire Lounge.
A move to Los Angeles in late 2007 gave him the opportunity to expand his audiences. Appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live in February and the ABC game show Wipe Out just recently have given him the chance to bring his low-key, hilarious musings to a national crowd.
In his first stage show since appearing on Jimmy Kimmel, Ben makes a long-awaited trip back to his homeland of Denver and will be sharing the stage of the Oriental Theater with his comedic friends as well as Denver band Chewbacca Bukkake (the combined b.sous and Chewbacca Bukkake supergroup!)
The show begins at 8pm, and tickets are $8/pre-sale, $10/at the door. Tickets are available at www.orientaltheatre.com.
