Wash the taste of the convention out with A Taste of Colorado

So the convention is over, and, like a child after Christmas, I’m all sleepy and a little sad. Denver was like the most popular kid in school for those few precious days, but we tripped in the hallway or our gym shorts split during class and now we have to sit at the nerd table again (Maybe that’s just me projecting old high school memories…)

ANYWAY, this weekend is a long one to allow us to sleep on all the Hopes in our head, and also to enjoy the warm weather.

In Civic Center Park staring today, Friday, at 4pm and going through Monday until 8pm, A Taste of Colorado will be holding their annual snacking and music festival.

Come out for local food joints offering up plates of their eats. While the vittles can be pricey, the music is free and this year Little Feat and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy are just a few of the headliners taking over the main stage (there are plenty, plenty of local bands and other performers at all the other scattered stages as well.)

Snack on, Denverites!

And don’t feel too bad. We’re still cool, no matter what delegates come and go. They don’t deserve us, anyway.
