“Mmmmm…. pie…”

I’m a sap for the sweetly bizarre little show “Pushing Daisies” on ABC, and have long fantasized about both the lead actor Lee Pace and the delicious looking pies he bakes on the show.

Now, I can actually, truly have a taste of one of these things!

Sadly, it’s not Lee Pace.

But “The Pie Hole,” the Pace-character-owned set piece from the show, will be on a mobile tour through Denver this Wednesday, September 17th, offering free pie along with free cookie cutters, spatulas, and rides on daisy bikes to folks in Larimer Square (1430 Larimer Street) from 10am-2pm.

I’m in it for the freakin’ free pie, as well as the chance to day dream that the pie was crafted by the sexy hands of Lee Pace himself…

OK, got distracted. Main message: Free pie!
