One of my favorite Simpsons episodes is the one in which Homer meets “Michael Jackson” in the insane asylum, and Bart, without knowing that it’s not the real MJ invites everyone over. The town is disapointed, but everything turns out happy for the Simpsons and the MJ impersonator in the end. And lots of hilarious thing happen along the way.

So I’m hoping FM Magazine’s party on Oct. 18th is like that. I think I’d prefer a fake MJ to a real one, after seeing that Martin Bashir interview special with the real King of Pop years ago (terrifying!)

This Saturday, FM will be hosting an MJ Mash-up battle, disguised as an “Office Party.” We attended one of their Office Parties earlier this year on a whim: Sadly, we weren’t in office attire, having spent the day mucking around in the streets of Denver, but we were enterprising. My gentleman caller creatively drew a tie across his chest with a pen, and we were good to go.
