AMAiZING!
Corn mazes are one of the best things about the Halloween season, I strongly feel.
They’re outdoors, full of corn, and if it’s the haunted variety, you get to run scared through mud. Why do I enjoy this rushing through squishy mud? Don’t know, but I love it so very, very much.
I’ve put off my maizing until this week, thinking I had more time in the October month than I did (story of my procrastinating life.) So now it’s do-or-die-trying.
There are plenty of mazes through maize around this year, such as Denver’s Botanical Garden at Chatfield Maze, which is a fun and entertaining night out for families and friends, although I fear it might have closed this weekend. They do have a haunted house out near the maze for fear-seekers, though.
Personally, I’m super excited about the Fritzler maze, which is near Greeley in LaSalle. One of the largest and oldest, it promises haunted good times as well as inflatable haunted houses. I’m so excited about running around through spooky corn mazes, I’m wiggling like a puppy.
