EAOD (a love story) fills the Gothic with love this weekend
On Saturday Dec. 6th, eclectic and amusing Denver band Everything Absent or Distorted (a love story) will be throwing a CD release party at the Gothic Theatre, for enjoyment.
EAOD is a Denver band made of up some seriously smart people (library students, PhD candidates, etc.) who all share a love of music and fun, and it shows in their sound. They’ve received some stellar press in the last few years from the Denver Post, Westword and plenty of other local and further reaching outlets.
The great thing about an EAOD show is not knowing what to expect- a kazoo solo? An accordian riff? A trumpet taking the song off in some different direction? It’s great fun.
Appearing with the band at their big CD release party are members of other big-name Denver bands, including folks from Bela Karoli, Devotchka, Boba Fet and the Americans, and Cat-a-Tac, filling the stage with 15 musicians. Holy cow! Also joining them will be Nagel, the Austin indie pop band.
Ah, yes, it shall we swell. So go show EAOD (A love story) some love this Saturday. Click the pic above for more details, including time and cost.
