Light roller!
![]()
Sounds science-fictiony, no?
Well, Denver’s own wunder-artist Justin Beard is at it again, creating art that is awesome and inventive.
Taking an experience from his work as a handy man, Beard created a mirrored paint roller that runs up and down the wall as the viewer pushes the pedal. Beard built the elaborate machine that runs the roller up and down, causing it to reflect different patterns of light across the nearby walls. It’s a work of beauty, for sure.
The piece will be at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design for through March 7th, and he’ll be having an opening reception/artist’s talk on Feb. 6, but it’s on display for anyone drifting by RMCAD!
Check it out here on youtube as well!
