Get your dunny, honey

I used to collect all sorts of stuff.
Comic books (well, the Cable series at least.), baseball cards (never knew who actually was on the cards, I was just waiting for the big find to make the $$), She-Ra toys, and in my extreme nerd years, action figures from a popular science fiction TV show (guess which one.)
But now I’m too messy and disorganized to collect anything more than rolling piles of cat fur that float around my apartment.
I’m pleased, however, to see that collecting is not a lost art. As evidenced by the countless sightings of Kidrobot’s Dunnies around town, the passion for collecting these rabbit-like figures is through the roof. People love these little guys!
A red-hot collectable these days, the Dunnies are so popular that Plastic Chapel (store for all things in alt-collectables) will be featuring a Trading Party in honor of the brand new Ye Olde English Dunny series today. Collectors and enthusiasts can come get the new figures, or trade older ones with other fans.
Collecting Dunnies and going to trading parties seems like a much more fun past time than secretly whiling away one more Captain Picard figure with special tricorder action arms in your official “Prime Directive” Star Trek action figure carrying case while feeling vaguely proud and shamed at the same time. Not that I’d know anything about that…
