It’s Zombie Apocolypse, now!

I’ve been readying for the coming zombie apocolypse for a long time. I have my axe/sledgehammer, baseball bat and machete at the ready (Try going in to an Ace Hardware store and asking for the best zombie-killing machete. You get the best blank stares. For reals!) and have been trying to drum up some escape plan for me and my cat Mojo for ages. You can never be too prepared for such a thing.
In the movie Last Man on Earth, Vincent Price must be doing something right, because he’s survived the onslaught of zombies/vampires/diseased humans/???? and outlived everyone else who can muck about in full sunlight.
Based on the book I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, fans will see a vaguely familiar tale as told in such recent updates/remakes/adaptions such as The Omega Man and the Will Smith vehicle I Am Legend . (The Onion’s AV Club did a great comparison of these movies, including Last Man a while back.)
Playing tonight at 7PM and 9PM at the Muenzinger Auditorium on the CU Boulder Campus as part of the International Film Series, this should be a great time for fans of sci-fi, horror, classic films, Vincent Price, and those looking to cobble together a workable strategy for zombie-filled dystopias (I count as all these things.)
