Denver Museum of Nature and Science Unleashes Nature

I had an eerie dream about escaping tornadoes last night, so perhaps I’m in the right mindset to view the current exhibit at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, “Nature Unleashed.”

An interactive exhibit that not only probes the causes of natural catastrophes such as volcanoes, earthquakes, tornadoes, wild fires, etc., the Museum’s exhibit looks at the science behind these “acts of god” but also the ramifications such events have on the people who live through them.

With massive fires in Australia, tidal waves in Asia, earthquakes in China, and tornadoes and floods right here in America within recent memory, this exhibit seems both chilling and precient. It might be worth a look.

The exhibit has been up since February, but runs through May 3rd.

A free day at the museum is coming up on March 18th, so Denverites can go check out this exhibit and get our learn on.
