Books are for lovers!

Books are the best. They offer romance, action, adventure, humor, poetry… Just about everything. And you can shut them up whenever you’re done with them. Now that’s a relationship to which I can commit!
This Thursday, April 24, the Tattered Cover is celebrating this very special bond between a wo/man and a book.
Taking a cue from the celebration of St. George, who was honored at Rose Festivals throughout the Middle Ages for his dragon-slaying, princess-saving (or was it the other way around?) ways, Tattered Cover has merged this April 23rd holiday with International Book Day, which marks the deaths of great writers Shakespeare and Cervantes.
Pick up a book for yourself and a complementary rose for a loved one, without having to slay one single dragon.
Also, on April 22nd, Denver’s favorite independent bookstore will be honoring Earth Day with a free reusable shopping bag when you spend $25.00 on reusable books!
It’s quite a week to be a book worm!
