Artsy maidens at Rock the Cradle

I’m not one to go to stores that sell primarily children’s clothes: I have no children, and don’t quite know what to do when I’m in their presence (“You’re rather small,” is my usual response to any child that crosses my path.)

But I’m very tempted to head to Rock the Cradle, an edgy children’s clothing store on 18 S. Broadway to check out the latest show in their gallery space, Pocket Full of Posies (A Pleasing Medley of Art Maidens)

Curated by the minds behind Bad Art for Bad People, the show features women artists creating kitschy, youthful works.

The show runs until June 30th, and it’s free to pop in. And if you have humans that are rather small in your family, you might find some fun stuff for them there, too.
