It’s tough being an unknown writer with a script you want the world to see: Thankfully, there are groups like the Modern Muse Theatre who help artists and playwrights bring their dreams alive on the stage.

This weekend, The Muse will be hosting their “The Play’s the Thing” new play festival, which offers a peek at some new works developed by new talent, as well as workshops and seminars on how to really bring a play to life on the stage.

The Festival runs June 25-27.
