El Merezer at the 11th Avenue Gallery
Holy smokes! This is going to be a busy week, what with the holiday and all sorts of events coming up for First Friday.
If you’re meandering down Broadway to enjoy the festivities this Friday, stop in at the 11th Avenue Gallery to check out the “El Merezer” show featuring two of Denver’s favorite artists.
The show will feature works by John Henry Egan and Maria Gonzalez, two of the creative forces behind the gallery itself.
The opening reception starts at 7PM and runs til 11PM, and there are always snacks to be devoured.
It’s a lovely little gallery space, for those who haven’t seen the 11th Ave spot, with exposed brick and a cozy atmosphere. A nice crowd always turns up, so be there and meet plenty of other artists, creators, and other interesting people as you check out the art.
It’s free, too. Can you beat it? No, not even with a stick.
