Just Desserts

On Saturday August 1st, Chef Shellie Kark will be finishing up her al fresco how-to cooking sessions with fresh directions on making a delicious-sounding blueberry lemon parfait.
I’m no cook- I can barely microwave properly (I nearly melted one of my plates in my last effort to heat up a frozen burrito, turning said burrito into a smoldering, stiff pile of rubble. It was a sad supper.) so I could probably benefit from some easy-to-follow classes that emphasize seasonal and fresh dining options.
The demonstration is free at the Denver Public Library from 10:30-1PM. Recipes and samples will be provided.
After the demonstration, the band Reveille 3 will be performing.
A free, delicious way to spend a weekend? If I can finish scraping my melted dishes up by then, it sure sounds like a great option to me!
