I worked with the International Poster Collection at Colorado State University for six years, and developed quite an affinity for that artform during my many, many years as a student worker (I was in school a Looooong time…)

So I’m particularly excited to see the documentary American Artifact: The Rise of American Rock Poster Art which will be showing tonight (Friday July 31) at 8 PM at the Oriental Theatre.

It’s $10 for admission, and sounds to perfectly complement the recent rock art posters at the Denver Art Museum for any one who stopped by that exhibit.
